•  Hey Grizzlies, don’t forget that Talent Show applications are due this Friday the 19th. If you need a form there are extra at the Attendance Office.

 

  • NJHS is holding a donation drive for fleece fabric through April 26th to create tie blankets to donate to Seattle Children's. You can donate prewashed, brightly colored pieces of fleece that are at least 40 by 40 inches. We can only take fleece fabric, and cannot accept donations of ultra-cuddle, silky, or furry fleece.

 

  • On April 30th, NJHS is hosting a service event for students to gain hours, after school from 2:45 to 4:45 in the Commons, where we will make the blankets for donation.

 

  • The Cartoon/anime student group is being held today in room 221 today. If you want to connect with people who have the same love for animation as you do, come join in on the fun!

 

  • April is National Poetry Month! Come by the library and create poetry at one of the poetry stations. See Mrs. Bachman or Ms. Metcalf for more information.

 

  •  Reminder: AVID Family night is tonight! Any current 6th grader who was invited to apply for the AVID program is invited to attend with their parent tonight. The event starts at 6:30 and lasts an hour. Please see Mr. Williams or Mr. Westerberg if you have more questions.

 

  • Hey Grizzlies, this week is spirit week and there will be rewards for the grade with the most spirit. Grizzly time teachers have been handed out a sheet of paper to keep track of how many people participated and showed our school spirit. Tuesday will be Twin Tuesday, Wednesday will be Pink Out, Thursday is Color wars between grades, where 6th grade wears red, 7th grade wears white, and 8th grade wears black. Lastly, Friday will be the day of the Carnival, so dress accordingly. Remember to show grizzly pride and good luck this week!
  • RMS our last Social of the year is this Friday! Tickets are on sale all 3 lunches starting today the 16ht and going through Thursday the 18th. Buy early as the price today and Wednesday is $3 with ASB and $5 without. On Thursday it is $5 for all. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Mahendran or Ms. Poblete.
