This week we talking about the University of Kentucky where Mr. Hughes earned his Bachelors in Biology and Masters in Secondary Education. The University of Kentucky is in Lexington Kentucky. Mr. Hughes favorite place is William T. Young Library. It is a beautiful building right in the middle of campus. Interesting fact about UK, every March the student-run organization called DanceBlue holds a 24-hour no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon. They fundraise year-round for the event and the money goes towards the Kentucky Children’s Hospital and UK Markey Center. In 2018, they raised $1,880,954.88!

We want to thank the guest teachers who are here today, substituting in various classes.

Thank you to:

Ms. Ibsen Ms. Lockwood Mr. Burns Ms. Sierra Ms. Hammond Ms. Bagby Ms. Tresch-Guyer Ms. Rohrbach

Hey Grizzlies today's quote of the day is..

“The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome the ecstatic experience.” ? Emily Dickinson

Be Kind, Be Honest, Be Proud. Be a Grizzly
