• Students we will now offer an activity bus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for people who are staying for after school study lab and other extra-curricular activities. We have also added more stops including Redmond Elementary and City of Redmond library.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the bus leaves RMS at 4:14pm.  Wednesdays bus departure time is still the same at 3pm.

• All second season athletes please take a minute during lunch time to check the lists posted on the wall to make sure you are cleared for sports. If your name is highlighted, then you are not cleared. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Poblete or Mr. Mahendran.

• Monday is our Awesome Pawsome Celebration during Grizzly Time. There will be karaoke, games in the gym, and a place to view funny video clips. It will cost 5 Awesome Pawsomes to attend. You will need to turn these in to your Grizzly Time teacher TODAY.

• It's almost the end of the SchoolPool Month. Remember that 1/2 page calendar you received? Mark all the days you've walked, biked, bussed or carpooled to school! If you ready to turn it in, don't wait any longer! Fill out the back with contact information and drop it off into the red SchoolPool collection box located in the main office or give it to your teacher. Remember, each returned calendar earns ASB $5!

• Student Purchasing Committee will have its first meetings during lunch in the library. Bring your lunch to the library!

• Reminder to all artists. Reflections submissions are due next Tuesday, October 30th.   You may submit your entries anytime between now and the 30th to Ms. Metcalf.  For additional assistance making sure your entry has met regulations, you can get help in the library during lunch tomorrow as well as next Monday and Tuesday.  Extra entry forms are available in the library in the Reflections binder.

• Are you a fan of edgy cartoons, dancing like nobody is watching, and making the world a happier and more accepting place? If you answered yes to any of those, stop by Rainbow Club today after school in Room 234. Bring a friend and come check it out! All are welcome.

• Hey Grizzlies! It’s a great day to return your overdue library books! That’s right, TODAY would be a great day to return your overdue books!

• Staff and students, we have a Veterans Assembly to honor the veterans who have served in the military. If you want, you can send photos of someone close to you that has served. Please make sure you include their name and what branch of the military they served in. Have all photos sent by October 31^st. If you have photos send them to s-kconklin@lwsd.org.

• The first RMS Social is coming soon. Friday November 2^nd from 2:40 to 4:30 and our theme is “Spooky”. Make sure you put it on your calendars. Tickets will be sold during lunch. The cost is $3 for ASB members and $5 for non-ASB members. If you need a scholarship, please see your counselor. Tickets are not sold at the door so make sure you plan ahead.

This week we are talking about Ms. Nelson who attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Seattle Pacific University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Conservation & Environmental Sciences and a Masters in Teaching with a focus on Math & Science. Ms. Nelson’s favorite place was the Gasthaus a campus restaurant or the Thomas A. Greene Museum of rocks and minerals in the Geosciences building. Interesting fact 5.        Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft Corporation, is an alumnus of UWM.
