• October is SchoolPool Challenge Month! Students, don't forget to mark down every time you walk, bike, bus, or carpool on your 1/2 page SchoolPool calendar. At the end of the month, fill out the contact information on the back and return the calendar to school to get cool stuff like pizza, smoothies or ice cream.

  • Attention library users—attention 6th and 7th graders working on book projects! On Thursday, Ms. Metcalf delivered 60 overdue notices. This morning, there are over 100 books overdue. Please remember that Grizzly Honesty is knowing when your books are due and returning or renewing them—especially after you have received an overdue notice. Be a good Grizzly and take care of your books today!

  • To all interested athletes. Today begins the sign ups for second season sports at lunch time. If you are a 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girl interested in playing Badminton or you are a 6th, 7th, or 8th grade boy interested in playing soccer, you can sign up during all 3 lunches this week. If you have any questions about either sport stop by portable 1 and see Mr. Mahendran.

This week we are talking about Ms. Jacobson-Ross’s College experience. Ms. Jacobson-Ross attended Pacific Northwest College of Art and Oregon College of Art and Craft both located in Portland, Oregon and Central Washington University located in Ellensburg. Ms. Jacobson-Ross has a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education. She chose to attend Pacific Northwest College of Art because of the wide variety of art taught there and the small student body. Both Art colleges had smaller populations than RMS. Oregon College of Art and Craft has 144 students and Pacific Northwest College of Art has 5550.

Be Kind, Be Honest, Be Proud. Be a Grizzly, Have a great day!
