• Grizzlies, our first assembly will be THIS Friday. To celebrate our Grizzly Pride, we will be having our first spirit day on Friday as well! This Friday’s theme is Red, White, and Black. So, dress up in your school colors and Grizzly sprit gear to show your Grizzly spirit! A reminder that spirit themed hats are allowed on spirit days, but masks or full-face paint are not allowed for safety reasons. We look forward to a spirited back to school assembly on Friday!

  • Boys basketball players please don’t forget that your practice times are now 2:50 to 4:00 for regional basketball and 3:50 to 5:00 for Varsity and JV. If you have any questions please see Coach Mahendran in portable 1.

  • RMS library will be open at lunch time starting on Friday! If you have any questions, see Ms. Metcalf.

  • Hey Grizzlies, did you know all your textbooks are online? But if you want an actual book for a class you can come to the library anytime before school, lunch, after school, or Grizzly Time to check one out.

  • Reminder that Jazz Band has started and will be continuing daily from 7:00 – 7:50 in room 119. If you have any questions or need more information, see Ms. Stoddard.

  • Everyone Forgets Yes, everyone forgets something occasionally. This year RMS is providing a ‘Forgotten Item Cubby’ (located by the Attendance Office) for things like lunches, water bottles, PE shirts, etc.

Notes and messages are a distraction to students/classrooms and will no longer be sent.  All items should be labeled with a first and last name.  If you think your parent may bring in something belonging to you, come check the Forgotten Item Cubby (located inside the Attendance Office).  We don’t want Forgotten Items to become Lost & Found, so please continue to check.

Be Kind, Be Honest, Be Proud. Be a Grizzly, Have a great day!

  • College of the week: This week we are talking about the University of Washington, where Mrs. Mattingly attended to earn her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her favorite class was Neuroscience. A fun fact about the University of Washington, UW is famous for the cherry blossom trees in the Quad- they even have their own Twitter account!
