Fall Social – Our first social of the year will be held on Friday, November 2nd after school from 2:40-4:30pm. The theme of this social is Spooky!
  • There will be many different activities offered including games in the gym, dancing in the commons, board games, a movie room, photo booth, and more! Concessions will also be available for sale.
  • Tickets for this event will be available during lunches October 22nd-October 26thTickets will be $3 for ASB members, and $5 for non-ASB.Students may purchase last minute tickets the day before the social, Thursday November 1st for $5, do discounts will be offered for late sales. NO tickets will be sold the day of the social.
  • Payments for tickets may be made in cash (exact change) or check (paid to RMS ASB). Concessions sales at the event are cash only. All proceeds from concession and ticket sales go to benefit RMS ASB.
  • For safety and supervision reasons, students who attend the social must remain the whole time. Students are expected to arrange their own transportation home, as no bus will be offered after the event.
 
Spirit Week – Will be coming up corresponding to our 1st School Social of the year! Students are encouraged to dress up and show their RMS pride! A reminder that spirit themed hats are allowed on spirit days, but masks or full face paint are not allowed for safety reasons. Here are the themes for our Spirit Week:
  • Monday Oct 29th – Pajama Day (stuffed animals and cuddly blankets are also welcome)
  • Tuesday Oct 30th – Sports Day
  • Wednesday Oct 31st – Costume Day. An added reminder for Halloween costumes that fake weapons, blood, and gore are not allowed at school.
  • Thursday Nov 1st – Superhero Day
  • Friday Nov 2nd – Black Out (wear all black) Coordinates with the Spooky theme of the social that afternoon
 
Veteran’s Day Assembly – Our Veteran’s Day assembly will be held the morning of Friday November 9th. If families in our community have loved ones who have served in the armed forces, we would like to honor them at this assembly. Please send pictures including name of person pictured, branch of military, and relation to student to s-kconklin@lwsd.org by October 31st. We will include images in a slideshow during the assembly. Questions regarding the assembly may be directed to Leadership teacher Kassandra Morris at kamorris@lwsd.org.
 
Volunteers Needed for Social Chaperones - Our first social of the year is quickly approaching. We are in need of chaperones for the event on Friday November 2nd from 2:40-4:30. Socials are held on campus in the great hall, commons and gym. We need help supervising students in all areas, including the monitoring games in the gym, supervising the dance floor, serving sentry in hallways and exits as well as roving supervision to keep kids safe.
